Coquitlam RCMP locate Austin Durocher who was wanted on B.C.-wide warrant

COQUITLAM RCMP on Wednesday announced on Wednesday that they had located the 24-year-old man who was wanted on a B.C wide warrant.

On March 10, Coquitlam RCMP had announced that they were looking for Austin Durocher, 24, who had been charged in connection with a March 4 incident with one count each of assault, uttering threats, assault by chocking, suffocating or strangling, and cause unnecessary pain or suffering or injury to animal.

Coquitlam RCMP frontline officers had responded to an assault report at an apartment building on Glen Drive near Johnson Street in Coquitlam. The female victim and her dog had been assaulted by her partner who then fled the residence.
