COQUITLAM RCMP are seeking witnesses and video following a serious motor vehicle collision at Coast Meridian Road and David Avenue in Coquitlam.

On Thursday, October 19, Coquitlam RCMP frontline officers attended a two-vehicle collision at 10:21 a.m. that sent one driver to hospital in critical condition. As officers continue the investigation, the public can expect road closures along David Avenue between Oxford Street and Soball Street in Coquitlam.

Coquitlam RCMP Victim Services is engaged.

“We are asking anyone with dash-cam or cellphone video of the intersection at Coast Meridian Road and David Avenue in Port Coquitlam between 10:10 a.m. and 10:25 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023 to contact our investigators,” said Media Relations Officer, Cpl. Alexa Hodgins. “Our officers are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision.”
