FOLLOWING the implementation of comprehensive strategies, Fraser Health on Monday declared a COVID-19 outbreak over in the high intensity rehabilitation unit at Laurel Place in Surrey.

Fraser Health declared a COVID-19 outbreak at Good Samaritan Delta View Care Centre in Delta. Fourteen residents have tested positive for COVID-19.

Good Samaritan Delta View Care Centre is a long-term care facility that is owned and operated by The Good Samaritan Society. The residents are currently in self-isolation at their homes.

Fraser Health said it has worked with Good Samaritan Delta View Care Centre to support the implementation of enhanced control measures. It is also working with the site to identify anyone who may have been exposed, and is taking steps to protect the health of all staff, residents and families.
