Expo Line regular service resumes (update)

UPDATE (5:59 p.m.)

The SkyTrain track issue affecting the Expo Line has now been resolved and regular service is resuming.  There may be gaps and extended wait times while schedules resume.

5:12 p.m. REPORT

DUE to a track issue there are currently delays on the Expo Line impacting SkyTrain service in the downtown area.  TranLink is establishing a shuttle train service which will operate between Commercial-Broadway Station and Waterfront Station.  This means customers travelling in or out of the downtown area will need to disembark at Commercial-Broadway Station and switch trains in order to continue their journey.  Additional bus services are also being deployed to assist passengers.

The Canada Line and Millennium Line are unaffected and providing regular service.  Customers seeking alternative routes to SkyTrain can use the TransLink Trip Planner (http://tripplanning.translink.ca) online and select “Exclude SkyTrain” under advanced search settings.  Customers can also phone the customer information desk on 604-953-3333.
