AT approximately 8 a.m. on Monday, July 29, a white Volkswagen Jetta collided with a semi-truck that was entering the roadway, resulting in the Jetta becoming wedged under the trailer in the 8800-block of River Road in Delta.

The driver of the Jetta sustained critical injuries and is currently receiving care in the hospital.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If you witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles involved prior to the crash, you are requested to contact the Delta Police Department at (604) 946-4411.
