THE Delta Police Department is investigating a serious single-vehicle collision involving a truck.

On Friday, June 12 at approximately 5:30 a.m., Delta Police responded to a report of a pick-up truck off the roadway in a water-filled ditch in the 5200-block of 88 Street.

Unfortunately, the sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.

Delta Police will remain on scene for the next several hours while conducting their investigation.

Anyone with more information, including dash cam footage around the area of Burns Drive and 88 Street between 4 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., is asked to contact Delta Police at 604-946-4411.
