ON Wednesday, July 9 at approximately 12:25 a.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a structure fire in the 19600-block of 48 Avenue in Langley.

Frontline officers found a home fully engulfed in flames. The residence was unoccupied at the time, as it was still under construction.

“We are working closely with the Langley City Fire Rescue Service to determine the cause of this fire,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. “We appreciate the public’s patience, as there may be on going traffic disruptions in the area while the investigation continues.”

Investigators are requesting anyone who was in the area between 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and may have dash camera footage to contact Langley RCMP and quote file 2025-21746.
