RIDGE Meadows RCMP said on Tuesday that four people were arrested in Monday’s shooting in Maple Ridge.

On July 3 at approximately 2:20 a.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the 14200-block of Silver Valley Road. Ridge Meadows RCMP frontline officers were first on scene. No injuries were reported. The Integrated Emergency Response Team (IERT) and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) also attended.

Police remained on scene to contain the property until a search warrant was executed later in the day. Several firearms were seized.

“There is no threat to public safety at this time,” said Sgt. Crystal Heisler. “The property and occupants are known to police and this remains an active and ongoing investigation.”

No further information is available at this time, she added.
