Gangster Tyrel Nguyen convicted of killing rival gangster Randy Kang and unintended victim Jagvir Malhi

HITMAN Tyrel Nguyen (Tyrel Hieu Nguyen Quesnelle), 24, has been found guilty of the first-degree murder of rival gangster Randy (Randeep) Kang, 27, and unintended victim Jagvir Malhi, 19, by the B.C. Supreme Court.

Kang was killed in October 2017 in Surrey.

Malhi, a university student, was killed in November 2018 in Abbotsford as he was mistaken for his brother.

Nguyen was also convicted in the attempted murder of Randy Kang’s brother, Gary, and Camilo Alonso.

Nguyen, who has been in custody since December 2019, will be sentenced later.
