Guru Nanak Food Bank’s 3rd session of Let’s Talk orientation series

AFTER organizing two successful  “Let’s Talk” orientation seminars, Guru Nanak Food Bank is arranging it’s third session of in Delta for the first time on April 16 at 12 noon at North Delta Secondary School, 11447 82 Avenue.

As April 16 marks the Vaisakhi weekend as well, Guru Nanak Food Bank expects to have a bigger gathering than before. The auditorium has a capacity of  698 people. Besides this,  people will have the opportunity to join the session through Facebook live and Zoom link for which all relevant information is available on the website www.gnfb.ca.

Presenters from Delta Police Department, Fraser Health, Delta School District, and credit counsellors will be educating the audience on a number of topics such as laws, rules and regulations, mental health, duties and rights of citizens, cybersecurity and a lot more.

Many young school kids are going to volunteer in this program and Guru Nanak Food Bank’s team has decided to award all the volunteers and young listeners with appreciation certificates to encourage more youth participation in future.
