Hayers start Named Endowed Fund to help communities with Rotary Foundation of Rotary International

FORMER BC Liberal MLA Dave S. Hayer and his wife Isabelle Martinez Hayer have started a Named Endowed Fund to help communities with The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
It provides general support to the World Fund, SHARE, Rotary Peace Centers or general support to a global grant developed around the world in one of seven Rotary International’s areas of focus:
1. Peace Building and Conflict Prevention / Resolution
2. Disease Prevention and Treatment
3. Water Sanitation and Hygiene
4. Maternal and Child Health
5. Basic Education and Literacy
6. Supporting Environment
7. Community Economic Development
Only a portion of the earnings are used annually for program spending.
The Hayers were presented special endowment pins by Rotary International President
Mário César Martins de Camargo (2025-2026), President Holger Knaack (2020-2021) and Endowment Major Gifts Adviser of The Rotary Foundation Carol Tichelman on September 21 in Toronto at Rotary International’s Action Zones 28 and 32 Conference.
