THE Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been deployed after Monday morning’s shooting at Vancouver’s University Golf Club.

IHIT said it will give out more information at 2 p.m.

According to a media report, there was a tarp covering a body in the parking lot of the golf course. A witness said he heard several gunshots at approximately 10 a.m.

There were reports of a vehicle fire near Crown Street and 22 Avenue. It is quite common for killers to steal a vehicle to carry out a murder and then torch it in order to get rid of all evidence.
