IHIT says Langley homicide victim is 29-year-old man of Langley

ON Tuesday at 12:10 p.m., Langley RCMP were called to a wooded area in the 7400-block of 208 Street where they located a 29-year-old deceased man of Langley.
Based on the early findings of the investigation, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) said this does not appear to be a random act.
IHIT is in the early stages of the investigation and the area surrounding the scene will be cordoned off for the remainder of the day.
 
IHIT investigators continue to gather evidence and complete priority tasks with the support of the Langley RCMP, the LMD Integrated Forensic Identification Section (IFIS) and the BC Corners Service.
 
“I want to assure the public that IHIT is well-resourced for all recent investigations. We have the support of our specialized policing partners, Lower Mainland Integrated (ITeams), and our dedicated homicide investigators,” said IHIT Detective Corporal Sukhi Dhesi.
