Langley RCMP arrest three robbery suspects

LANGLEY RCMP have arrested three suspects after a series of robberies in the city.

On November 18 at approximately 9:25 p.m., Langley RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at a business in the area of 27500-block of Fraser Highway. Police received information that the suspects had brandished a firearm, assaulted staff members and fled from the business with products and a cash safe.

“The suspect vehicle was described as a newer model Ford Explorer. Within a short period, Langley RCMP frontline officers located the vehicle and attempted to apprehend the suspects. Despite the suspects’ attempts to outmaneuver law enforcement, swift and coordinated efforts by the police led to the arrest of three individuals in the area of Logan Ave and Glover Road,” said Cpl. Zynal Sharoom on Thursday.

Langley RCMP said their Drugs and Organized Crime Section and General Investigative Sectio, along with frontline officers have worked tirelessly on this incident to complete the investigation. It is alleged that this robbery may be linked to other robberies that occurred in Langley and Surrey, and an attempted robbery in Mission on November 17. Langley investigators continue to work closely with officers from both Surrey and Mission detachments as they continue their respective investigations.

Justin Ritchot, 30, Thomas Stanley, 21, and Robert Mills, 20, have each been charged with one count of robbery.

Anyone with more information or dash cam footage from the area of Logan Avenue and Glover Road on November 18 is asked to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
