TORONTO, ONTARIO: Crafted for the true driving enthusiast, the Lexus RC F delivers incredible power and performance dynamics, wrapped in an aggressively styled coupe and loaded with luxury amenities. New for 2022, Lexus introduces the Track Edition 2.0 – the newest version of its race-ready coupe.

The heart of the RC F is a beast of an engine – a naturally aspirated 5.0L V8 that produces 472 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. It’s as brainy as it is brawny – loaded with sophisticated engine management technologies to maximise usable horsepower, torque, and efficiency while minimizing emissions. Lexus engineers coupled this to a uniquely tuned eight-speed Sports Direct Shift automatic transmission that offers manual control through steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. When not in manual mode, the transmission detects curves and automatically holds the lower gear to give optimal response when accelerating out the other side.

The RC F’s sport coupe credentials are on full display with aggressively crafted bodywork featuring sharpened front bumper, Lexus F mesh grille flanked by air intakes, and character lines that emphasize the coupe’s low proportions and well-planted stance. The look is finished with a hood scoop, large 19” wheels in grade-specific designs, plus triple LED headlamps with an integrated L-motif turn signal, LED rear combination lights, and quad tail pipes.

The 2022 Lexus RC F (starting MSRP: $87,000) introduces guests to the Lexus F experience. This model includes SACHS shock absorbents, and an Active Rear Wing.

The 2022 Lexus RC F Performance Package (starting MSRP: $98,000) enhances the style, comfort and luxury of the high-performance coupe with unique 19” polished alloy wheels, a carbon fiber roof and Active Rear Wing, and the Torque Vectoring Differential system. Inside, the cabin receives a 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, plus a power adjustable steering column and intuitive parking assist. This model eschews the moon roof in favour of a solid top for increased rigidity and better performance.

The 2022 Lexus RC F Track Edition 2.0 (starting MSRP: $123,700) completes the lineup with a special model designed specifically for track day. Sections of the body are replaced  with lightweight carbon fibre panels and there are red painted BREMBO carbon ceramic brakes, a new carbon fiber aerodynamics kit, and a suede-clad shift knob.

The 2022 Lexus RC F is now on sale at Lexus Dealers across Canada.
