VANCOUVER Police were called just before 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday for reports of a man in medical distress on Union Street, just east of Main Street. First responders discovered that the man had been stabbed.
Despite attempts by first responders to save his life, the 32-year-old victim died before he could be taken to hospital.
No arrests have been made.
Investigators from VPD’s Forensic Identification Unit and Major Crime Section will be working in the area throughout the day to collect evidence.
Investigators would like to speak to witnesses, or anyone with dash-cam video that was near Main and Union Street between midnight and 3:30 a.m. on June 5. Anyone with information is asked to call VPD’s Homicide Unit at 604-717-2500.
