ON Thursday, April 16, at approximately 4:05 p.m., Langley RCMP received a report of a disturbance in the 6400-block of 199 Street.

Officers immediately attended the area and located a 46-year-old man suffering from a serious stab wound. The victim was immediately transported to a local area hospital for further assessment.

“Out of an abundance of caution the Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team has deployed to assist the Langley RCMP with this investigation,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. “Police believe this to be a targeted attack with no on-going risk to the general public.”
