Manjot Singh, 25, and Shivam Miglani, 20, of Brampton charged in connection to attempted carjacking

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau have charged two men in connection to an attempted carjacking in Brampton.

On Sunday, October 25, at approximately 1:50 p.m., the victim parked his vehicle at a gas station in the area of Mississauga Road and Steeles Avenue in Brampton. When out of his truck, the victim was confronted by the accused parties, one armed with a knife.  They made a demand for his keys and a struggle ensued. They were not successful in obtaining the truck keys and fled on foot. There were no physical injuries sustained by the victim.

At 2:20 a.m. on Monday, October 26, uniform patrol officers from 22 Division located the suspects nearby in a commercial business where officers arrested them.

Manjot Singh, a 25-year-old man from Brampton, and Shivam Miglani, a 20-year-old man from Brampton, were charged with robbery.  They were held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on October 26.
