CANADA’S Men’s Youth Olympics Field Hockey Team are playing in a special All-Star Series this week in preparation for the 2014 Youth Olympic Games.

The first game was held on August 5 at UBC (Vancouver).

The next two are being held on August 7 and 8 at Rutledge Field (West Vancouver) and Tamanawis (Surrey) respectively.

The format of the games will be “Hockey 5s,” a new 5-on-5, fast-paced, high-scoring form of field hockey which will be played at the upcoming Youth Olympics.

Family, friends and media are encouraged to come watch this exciting, highly skilled, fun hockey.

Schedule:

* Thursday, August 7: 7-9 p.m. at West Vancouver

* Friday, August 8: 7-9 p.m. at Surrey
