PRIME Minister Justin Trudeau and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday discussed their resolve to work together on the fight against climate change and to promote collective action in support of the Paris Agreement, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.
Trudeau offered his condolences to those who have been affected by recent monsoon floods and landslides in India, while Modi offered condolences on the wildfires in Canada.
Trudeau expressed his support for ongoing efforts to further strengthen Canada-India relations and increasing trade and investment opportunities.
