U.S. President Donald Trump told the media on Saturday night that the shooter at the White House correspondents’ dinner had multiple weapons.

He said the authorities think he was a lone wolf.

He said the dinner event would be held again.

 Trump said that the Secret Service agent who was shot was saved by his bullet-proof vest. He said he had spoken to the officer and he was doing great.

He added: “He has very high spirits, and we told him we love him and respect him, and he’s a very proud guy.”

Trump posted a picture of the man in custody and security camera footage on social media.

He said he shared it in the interest of transparency.
