ABBOTSFORD Police announced on Wednesday that Sonam Ramola, who had been reported missing to the police by her family on December 17, 2025, has been located deceased.

Sonam’s vehicle — a black 2020 Hyundai Elantra — was located shorty after 9 p.m. on December 17, 2025, parked beneath the Mission Bridge near Tall Road and Riverside Street. Central Fraser Valley Search and Rescue was deployed to the area yesterday evening and conducted a coordinated search, but drew a blank.

Police said they can confirm that the circumstances surrounding her death are not considered suspicious. They extended their sincere condolences to Sonam’s family, friends, and all those affected by this loss.
