Nanak Niwas Students Celebrate

Students at Gurdwara Nanak Niwas (#5 Road) in Richmond had a very enjoyable year-end celebration of their Punjabi classes. Every student was presented with a participation certificate by Mrs. Kashmir Kaur Johal on behalf of the Gurdwara management. A number of students read their stories and poems in Punjabi and also did some performances. After the formal segment, students, parents and grandparents were treated to delicious refreshments. The Punjabi School is now closed for the month of August and will re-open on Sunday, September 8. Coordinator of the Punjabi School, Balwant Sanghera and teacher Prabhjit Kaur thanked the students, parents and grandparents for a very successful school year.
