ABBOTSFORD Police said on Saturday that crews were on scene of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 1 eastbound at the Peardonville Road overpass, involving a passenger vehicle and a semi‑truck. One person was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Both eastbound lanes of Highway 1 remain open, however, crews will be working in the area throughout the evening to clear the wreckage. Minor delays should be expected.

Early indications suggest the passenger vehicle lost control and struck the semi‑truck, causing it to leave the highway.
