AN Ajax dentist, Dr. Sunilkumar Patel, 36, has been arrested for sexually assaulting a patient during her appointments.

On Saturday, July 13, the victim attended KC Dental located at 280 Rossland Road East in Ajax. During two of the victim’s appointments, the dentist touched the victim inappropriately, according to Durham Regional Police.

Police are concerned there may be other victims and have released a photo of the accused. The dentist also works at Family Smile Dentistry at 3480 Lawrence Avenue East in Scarborough.

Patel is charged with two counts of sexual assault. He was released on an undertaking.
