ONTARIO: Arshdeep Mand charged with attempted murder in Brampton banquet hall stabbing

PEEL Regional Police investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested Arshdeep Mand, a 20-year-old male from Brampton, for a stabbing incident that occurred at a banquet hall located in the area of Goreway Drive and Deerhurst Drive in the City of Brampton.

In the early hours of Sunday, December 2, police had attended the banquet hall in response to several 911 calls, regarding a large group of people fighting. As a result of the incident, several people received minor injuries and one man sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a trauma centre for treatment.

On Wednesday, December 12, Mand was arrested and charged with attempt murder and aggravated assault.
