PEEL Regional Police on Friday arrested and charged three males for possession of stolen property and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
On August 3, police received information about a stolen vehicle that was located in the City of Brampton. Uniformed officers responded to the area and located the vehicle in a park on Creditview Road.
In an attempt to flee from the officers, the stolen vehicle collided with two police cruisers which rendered the stolen vehicle inoperable. The three males were subsequently arrested for offences under the Criminal Code. Â Â No injuries were sustained during the arrest.
Arvinder Kang, an 18-year-old male from Brampton, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a controlled substance. He will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a future date.
A 15-year-old male from Brampton was also charged with possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a controlled substance. He was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on August 4.
A 17 year-old male from Brampton was charged with possession of property obtained by crime, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failure to comply with sentence and possession of a controlled substance. He was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on August 4.
