ONTARIO: Manjot Singh and Gurkirat Singh wanted for attempted murder in Brampton

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police have obtained warrants for the arrest of two South Asian men after a vicious attack on two men in the City of Brampton.

On Saturday, April 16 at approximately 12:45 a.m., the two victims were at a business in the area of Bramtree Court and Chrysler Drive. Upon leaving the business, the two victims were attacked by a group of four men who were armed with weapons ranging from sticks to bats. After causing injury to the victims, all of the suspects fled the area in a white, 2015 Volkswagen Jetta with Ontario license plate CFEB 295.

One of the victims was transported to a trauma centre, and has sustained life-altering injuries. The second victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two of the suspects have been identified by investigators, and a warrant for their arrest has been issued.

Manjot Singh, a 25-year-old man from Brampton, and Gurkirat Singh, a 24-year-old man from Markham, are each wanted for the following offences:

– Attempt murder
– Assault with a weapon
– Assault cause bodily harm

The other two suspects remain unidentified at this time; however, investigators are working diligently to obtain their identity and bring them before the courts. All of the involved suspects are encouraged to speak with legal counsel, and make arrangements to surrender to police.
