SHORTLY after 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, Richmond RCMP responded to the 9400-block of No. 1 Road for a collision involving a male pedestrian. He was struck while in a marked crosswalk on Pendlebury Road at No 1 Road.

The victim was transported to a local area hospital and is in serious condition. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police. Neither speed nor impairment are considered a factor.
