SURREY Police Service (SPS) announced on Monday that the person who sustained life-threatening injuries in a collision near 120 Street and 97 Avenue on July 1 has passed away.
On Tuesday, July 1 at approximately 4:10 p.m., Surrey Police Service officers, Surrey Fire Service and BCEHS attended the scene of the collision. One person was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition and two people were transported to hospital with minor injuries and subsequently released. One person remained in hospital in life-threatening condition.
SPS Road Safety Section Collision Investigation Unit members attended the scene and took conduct of the investigation. The Lower Mainland District Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) attended the scene and assisted SPS with gathering evidence.
SPS is still asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who might have information, including dash cam or CCTV footage, to call Surrey Police Service’s non-emergency number at 604-599-0502 and quote file 25-54337 (SP).
