ON Tuesday, January 20 at approximately 3:04 p.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision between a semi-truck and a motorcycle in the 22200-block of Highway 10.

Emergency crews are in the area and roads are closed while officers conduct their investigation.

“One person has been transported to a local area hospital with serious injuries,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. “Road closures are in effect in the surrounding area therefore motorists are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.”

Investigation into this collision is in its infancy and no further details are available currently. Updates will be provided as information becomes available, police said.
