JUST 1 p.m. on Monday, March 9, Burnaby RCMP frontline officers responded to a reported threat at Burnaby North Secondary School, located at 751 Hammarskjold Drive.

Out of an abundance of caution, the school was initially placed into lockdown, which has been since been lifted. Police have cleared the school and currently do not believe there is a credible threat.

Police will remain on scene while the investigation continues.
