COQUITLAM RCMP are requesting witnesses and video footage following a structure fire in Coquitlam.

At approximately 5 a.m. on Sunday, December 7, Coquitlam RCMP responded to a fire at an abandoned apartment building located at 727 North Road in Coquitlam. The building was scheduled for demolition. Coquitlam Fire and Rescue extinguished the blaze.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Coquitlam RCMP General Investigation Section.

“We are asking anyone who may have witnessed the fire or has video footage to contact Coquitlam RCMP,” said Acting Sgt. George Han, Coquitlam RCMP Media Relations Officer.
