RICHMOND RCMP prepared a special coin this Vaisakhi to recognize the South Asian community.

Interestingly, Officer in Charge, Superintendent Will Ng, speaks Punjabi.

Last Sunday Ng along with Inspector Sunny Parmar and Sgt. Jet Sunner (see photo) presented one of the special coins to India Cultural Centre of Canada Gurdwara Nanak Niwas Management Chairman Asa Singh Johal, his wife Kashmir Kaur Johal and the Gurdwara Management Committee in the presence of the congregation in the Gurdwara Diwan Hall. President Balbir Singh Jawanda and Secretary Balwant Singh Sanghera thanked Ng and his team for this wonderful gesture and the ongoing support and encouragement by their local police force.
