SURREY RCMP say that road closures are currently in effect as a result of a serious motor vehicle collision in Cloverdale.

On Thursday (July 16) at approximately 9:41 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a collision involving a pedestrian and a semi-truck at the intersection of 172nd Street and Highway 10. The semi-truck driver remained at the scene of the collision. Surrey RCMP frontline and traffic services are currently investigating. The pedestrian has been transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Road closures are in effect at Highway 10 westbound between 168th Street and Highway 15.
