AT approximately 9:05 p.m. om Thursday, December 29, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 12400-block of 79A Avenue.

Police are working to determine the possible motive for the shooting.

Officers are conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages.
