VANCOUVER Police are investigating a shooting on Nanaimo Street near Charles Street earlier Friday afternoon.
Police received several calls of shots fired in front of a local business. When officers arrived, both the suspect and the victim had fled.
Police said the shooting appears to have stemmed from an argument or altercation between the two men. Investigators have no reason to believe there is any ongoing concerns for public safety.
Evidence gathered has confirmed shots were fired, but police have not yet confirmed if the intended victim was struck.
