LANGLEY RCMP are currently on scene in the Willoughby area for a report of shots being fired.

At approximately 6:45 a.m. on Friday, police responded to a report of shots fired at a residence in the 21000-block of 77 Avenue. Frontline officers attended the scene and located evidence consistent with a shooting. No injuries were reported.

Officers remain in the area conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages and Police are working to determine the possible motive for the shooting.
