AT approximately 11:35 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28, RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) officers responded to calls of possible shots fired at a business located in the 15200-block of Croydon Drive. Officers confirmed that damage to the exterior of the business had been caused by gunshots.
The incident is believed to have occurred between the hours of 8:30 p.m. on Monday, October 27 and 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28. Nobody was inside the business at the time and there were no injuries.
RCMP SPOSU General Investigation Unit (GIU) has taken conduct of the investigation. The investigation is in its early stages and investigators will be continuing to gather evidence related to the shots fired, including liaising with police partners to determine if there are any links to other files.
