SURREY RCMP are currently on scene in the Fleetwood area for a report of shots fired.

On December 29 at approximately 9:28 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 7800-block of 167 Street.

Responding officers located evidence to support a shooting having occurred in the area.

No one was injured in the incident.

Officers continue to conduct neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages and police are working to determine the possible motive for the shooting.
