COQUITLAM RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance and video footage, including surveillance, dash cam, and cell-phone video, to help identify the suspect involved in a hit-and-run that involved two pedestrians.

On Friday, December 22 at approximately 10:30 a.m. Coquitlam RCMP frontline officers received a report of two pedestrians being struck by a vehicle as they crossed a commercial driveway. The pedestrians were struck by a vehicle exiting the parking lot of a commercial shopping centre in the 1900-block of Como Lake Avenue in Coquitlam. They did not sustain serious injuries. The suspect vehicle did not remain at the scene.

The suspect can be described as a female with shoulder-length brown curly hair.

The vehicle can be described as an older, boxy model, dark blue jeep.

Police are asking anyone who may have observed the collision or anyone with information and video footage, including surveillance, dash cam or cell-phone video, to contact Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2023-34343.
