THE 32 Avenue Diversion off of Highway 99 in Surrey is closed in both east and west directions due to a single vehicle collision.
On Saturday, July 6 at 2:20 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a single vehicle collision. The driver, and sole occupant, suffered possible life-threatening injuries. A hydro box also sustained damage, resulting in the traffic lights no longer functioning.
Due to the serious nature of the collision, 32 Avenue is expected to be shut down for a considerable period of time and may impact commuters. Police request that the public plan alternate routes.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash camera footage from the area at the time of the collision is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote file 2024-97896.
