Street Capital Financial Corporation, a Canadian owned residential mortgage lender proudly announces that its President Paul Grewal has been inducted into the mortgage industry’s prestigious Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals (CAAMP) Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame. Paul was one of five individuals honored by CAAMP at an Awards Gala last night in Toronto.
Paul has over 23 years’ experience in the mortgage industry and was one of the founding partners of Street Capital Financial Corporation. Paul is currently President of Street Capital. Under Paul’s leadership, the company has grown to almost $17 billion in mortgages under administration. Street Capital is now the #3 lender in the Canadian mortgage broker channel.
The Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame was created to recognize and honour mortgage industry leaders whose achievements and service have contributed to the success of the Canadian mortgage industry. Inductees to the Mortgage Hall of Fame have provided leadership, vision and inspiration in their profession and strive to make a difference to enhance industry standards.
Paul has been actively involved with CAAMP as a Past Chair (2006/07) and was instrumental in the transition from CIMBL to CAAMP. In 2009 he received CAAMP’s Founders Award for his outstanding contributions to the association. Paul has been Chair and Co-Chair of numerous CAAMP committees and is a past Chair of the CAAMP Foundation. The CAAMP Foundation, the charitable arm of CAAMP, is committed to raising awareness of the importance of financial literacy and education, as well as giving back to our communities by contributing to the well-being of Canadian residents.
