Surrey collision at 184 Street and 32 Avenue (8:05 p.m. update)

8:05 P.M. UPDATE:

Surrey RCMP is advising the public that the road is now opened at 184 Street and 32 Avenue.

 

ON Sunday, October 27 at approximately 3:41 p.m., Surrey RCMP received a report of a vehicle collision at the intersection of 32 Avenue and 184 Street involving two vehicles. The driver of the Nissan has sustained life-threating injuries and is in a local area hospital.

The Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) is currently on scene and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been called in.  The investigation is in the early stages and investigators are working to identify all factors that led to this collision.

Currently, the intersection of 184 Street and 32 Avenue is closed in all directions. Traffic in the surrounding areas has been impacted and drivers can expect significant delays. The closure will remain in effect for an undetermined amount of time while investigators process the scene, police said
