Surrey RCMP appeal for witnesses after female grabbed in Fraser Heights

SURREY RCMP are seeking the assistance of the public in an incident where a female was grabbed in the Fraser Heights neighbourhood of Surrey.

On August 13 (Monday), at 11 p.m., police responded to a report of a 27-year-old female who was grabbed from behind by an unknown male while walking in the area of 111A Avenue and 161A Street. The female was able to free herself from the suspect and flee the area. She was not injured.

The male suspect is described as white, 5’8”, medium build, wearing a black Nike hoodie and grey sweatpants. The male’s vehicle was described as a black 2000 Chevrolet pickup with Silver Convex rims, possibly a 2-door extended cab.

The Surrey RCMP’s General Investigation Unit is leading the investigation into the incident.
