Surrey RCMP ask for public’s help to locate men wanted in connection with May 5 shooting

SURREY RCMP had arrested three people in connection with a shooting which took place on May 5 in the Guildford area.

At approximately 1:17 a.m. on May 5, Surrey RCMP officers on duty heard the sound of gunfire, east of the Surrey RCMP’s Guildford District Office. The officers patrolled the area and located an injured man in the 10300-block of 149A Street.  The injured man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
A suspect vehicle was observed leaving the area and was located in the 9500-block of 120th Street with the assistance of the BC RCMP’s Air 1 Helicopter. Three individuals associated to the vehicle were arrested and taken into custody. Two people were charged in relation to the shooting, while the third was released without charges.

On May 7, officers executed search warrants in the 9500-block of 120th Street as part of the ongoing investigation.  Investigators believed that this was a targeted attack.

At the time, police said further details would not be released.

On May 15, Surrey RCMP requested help from the public to locate two men who have been charged in connection with the shooting. The men currently have outstanding arrest warrants.

Allan Jesse Hiscock, 46, has been charged with assault with a weapon, and possession of a prohibited weapon. He is described as a white man, 5’11” tall, and 150lbs. He has blue eyes, short brown hair, and a brown goatee. He also has numerous tattoos on his arms. (See photo)

Jamie Westlake, 54, has been charged with assault. He is described as a white man, 5’8” tall, and 205 lbs. He has brown eyes, and short brown hair. He also has numerous tattoos on his arms. (See photo).

Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Hiscock and Westlake to call Surrey RCMP 604-599-0502.

Two other individuals have been arrested and are currently in custody:

* Michael Branden Anderson, 37, has been charged with attempted murder and two counts of possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm.

* Denise Clara Watson, 41, has been charged with attempted murder and two counts of possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm.

The Surrey RCMP’s Serious Crimes Unit (SCU) is continuing to investigate. Further details will not be released at this time, police said.
