SURREY RCMP said on Sunday they were investigating after a male was allegedly assaulted in the 6400-block of 152 Street at approximately 10 a.m.

Police received a call that a male was injured following a dispute between himself and another male known to him. A male victim was located with an injury to his arm and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

Police said they could confirm there was no shooting and the incident is not believed to be connected to gang activity
