THREE leading British Columbian conservatives from across the province stepped up as BC co-chairs of the Pierre Poilievre for Prime Minister campaign on Friday.
“I am honoured to welcome these conservatives as BC co-chairs of my campaign,” said Poilievre. “They represent a cross-section of principled, thoughtful leaders in our party who command respect in their great province of British Columbia and share my campaign’s common-sense mission to give Canadians back control over their lives and make Canada the freest country on earth”.
The three co-chairs are:
* Tracy Gray, MP for Kelowna-Lake Country, who is a former councillor on Kelowna City Council, and a well-respected entrepreneur with extensive experience and recognition in the BC business community.
* Kerry-Lynne Findlay, MP for Surrey-White Rock, who served as the Minister of National Revenue and the Associate Minister of National Defence in Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s Cabinet.
* Todd Doherty, MP for Cariboo-Prince George, who has vast experience in the private sector as one of North America’s top aviation business development professionals. Doherty has represented Canada throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the America’s on trade missions, industry conferences and on industry regulatory panels.
