Three people seriously injured in targeted home invasion in Maple Ridge

RIDGE Meadows RCMP Investigative Support Team (IST) is continuing to investigate a targeted home invasion that occurred on Saturday.

On April 15 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to the report of a home invasion in the 12000-block of Garden Street in Maple Ridge. The RCMP’s Police Dog Services also attended the scene to assist.

The scene was held by police until a search warrant was executed by the Ridge Meadows RCMP IST and the Integrated Forensic Identification Services Team (IFIS).

Three people suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to hospital by BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS).

Police believe this to be a targeted incident and there is no further threat to public safety at this time. They said this is currently an active and ongoing investigation and no further information is available at this time.
