Three South Asians arrested by Peel Regional Police in stolen vehicles and drug possession case

OFFICERS from Peel Regional Police’s 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged three South Asian males –  Lakhwinder Singh, Maninderjit Singh Dhindsa and Davinder Gill – in relation to stolen vehicles and drug possession.

On Saturday, April 1, police attended a location on Dixon Road near Carlingview Drive, in the City of Toronto, for an investigation. Three male suspects were found in possession of two vehicles which had been stolen from the region of Peel. A stolen license plate was also located with the men, as well as quantities of methamphetamine and heroin.

A 25-year-old male from Toronto, Lakhwinder Singh, was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a controlled substance – heroin, and possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamines.

A 38-year-old male from Brampton, Maninderjit Singh Dhindsa, was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a controlled substance – heroin, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamines, and breach of probation order.

A 34-year-old male from Brampton, Davinder Gill, was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a controlled substance – heroin, and possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamines.
